| Coach Jay has been coaching youth to high performance sports for the last 25 years and just received his Chartered Professional Coach (ChPC) designation from the Coaching Association of Canada. A recent graduate from the University of British Columbia's master's degree of High Performance in Coaching and Technical Leadership and current Director of Player and Coaching Development for the Victoria Mariners, Coach Jay has focused most of his time on baseball for the last 10 years winning two provincial championships, represented BC at the 13U AAA National Championships in Montreal, Quebec in 2019, and winning a gold medal at the 2022 BC Summer Games. As a high school teacher in Victoria, BC, Coach Jay fills his days up with not only baseball but also as a Learning Facilitator and Coach Evaluator for Baseball Canada. |
